Hampden Street Swim School offers quality learn to swim lessons for children of all ages. Our programmes are an excellent way for your child to develop essential life swimming skills to become confident, capable and safe in the aquatic environment.
Our swim tutors are qualified and experienced and will create a fun and supportive learning environment for your child.
Based at Hampden Street School Pool, our lessons for younger children start in the learners pool, with older children graduating to the main pool for their classes.

Your child will develop their water confidence and love for the water in our safe and fun pre-school lessons. Our Little Ducklings programme is perfect for children aged 2-5 years.
Your school aged child will love our Gators programme! They will learn to swim in a fun and supportive environment from the very best qualified swim tutors. For children aged 5+ years.
Our Orca squads are based in the 25m pool and will ensure your swimmer becomes proficient in all strokes and develops a life-long love and skill in swimming.
Delivering you the pathway to competitive swimming, for swimmers aged from 8 to 18 years. You can engage in fun club nights through to our high-performance squads that target New Zealand's major national meets.
